Army cadets from Heston joined counterparts from across west London at their annual training camp in Yorkshire.
Members of 192 Heston, 194 Hounslow, 203 Brentford and 197 Feltham detachments enjoyed everything from kayaking to orienteering during the two-week break.
Hounslow Police Safer Transport Team ran a week long youth diversion scheme with the English Rugby Football Union,which culminated in a finals day involving 80 youths held at Beavers Sports Lodge, Hounslow West.
The event called "Tag and Tackle Crime", organised by PCSO Dave Nicholas, involved youths from all areas of Hounslow ranging from 8 to 17 year olds.
Let's hope smiles like these are a common site around the borough as students collect their A-level results.

Reports of Heston's demise have been greatly exaggerated.
That was the message as scores of people turned out to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Heston Residents' Association (HRA) last Wednesday.

Plans for up to 350 new homes in Heston have moved a step closer after housing chiefs signed a £53million deal with builders.
The project covering six estates across the town, which is scheduled to take five years, will be completed by Lovell and Hounslow Homes, the council's leisure arm, is confident the work will make a significant dent in the borough's 11,000-strong housing waiting list.
